Facility Supervisor

This position is in our new Chantilly location. (Updated 11/22/21) 

This job is physically active and includes training members and their employees, ensuring equipment works properly, checking in food deliveries, and ensuring the facility meets regulatory cleanliness standards at all times.  This position backs up the administration staff and will answer calls and conduct facility tours when called upon. 

The Member Coordinator for Facilities and Operations focus report to the General Manager of Operations as their primary supervisor. 

Frontier Kitchen is a unique company that fosters and assists new food businesses.  We are open 24/7 for our clients and the administrative staff is onsite no less than seven days a week, 9am-5pm.  This is a full-time position, weekend work for this position is required.  Health benefits and quarterly profit sharing bonuses are available.

Job Duties:

  • Greeting guests and members

  • Ensure proper functioning of equipment

  • Ensure regulatory cleanliness and sanitation standards are met at all times

  • Conducting facility tours

  • Conduct training for new clients and new client employees

  • Member management, including care checks and rule enforcement

  • Taking deliveries of food and equipment

  • Responsible for managing storage inventories, conducting weekly shelf and space audits

  • Supervision of member services staff and contractors completing repairs

  • Supervision and monitoring of member activities in the kitchen in compliance with Code of Conduct and Food Code

  • Answering phone calls and emails

  • Backs up and supports other Member Coordinator and General Manager, as necessary

  • Other duties as assigned


  • Must be comfortable on computers

  • Self-motivated, have good communication skills, be a problem solver, and a team player

  • Must have some front-line supervisory experience

  • Attentive, transparent, friendly, and detail oriented; must be comfortable with professional confrontation and polite and friendly correcting of behaviors

  • Must be able to lift at least 30lbs

  • Must have own transportation and be willing to travel throughout the Northern Virginia area

  • Previous work experience in customer service position is required
